🎨 Materials

🦌 Exterior Leather: Deerskin

You can choose from Yakushika (Yaku Island deer), Ezo Shika (Hokkaido deer), or Kyo Shika (Kyoto deer).
All are made from the leather of wild deer, and the suppleness, thickness, and appearance vary from one animal to another.

・Yakushika leather: Leather from wild sika deer inhabiting Yaku Island.
・Ezo Shika leather: Leather from Ezo Shika that lived in the Hokkaido wilderness.
・Kyo Shika leather: Leather from Japanese sika deer culled in Kyoto. This material makes use of life without waste, and is ariga-to's unique name for it.

🐄 Interior Leather: Cowhide

You can choose from Tochigi Leather or Italian Leather.

・Tochigi Leather: Vegetable-tanned cowhide from Tochigi Leather Co., one of Japan's leading tanneries. Characterized by its robustness and durability.
・Italian Leather: Cowhide from Italy. Characterized by its fine texture and vibrant colors.

①Please choose the color of the deer leather for the exterior from the list.

②Please choose the color of the leather for the inner pocket from 'Tochigi Leather' or 'Italian Leather'.

Changes or cancellations cannot be accepted after the leather has been cut.

👛 Storage

The card pocket for 1 card will have a diagonal opening. No extra charge.
The card pockets for 2-4 cards will have horizontal openings. Customizing the card pockets for 2-4 cards costs ¥2,750 (tax included), regardless of the number of cards.

🪡 Hand-stitched Finish

All products are hand-stitched. Each stitch is tightened individually, resulting in a beautiful and durable finish.

🍃 The Individuality of Wild Leather

Scars and stains found on wild deerskin are preserved in the work as proof that the animal lived in nature. We hope you will appreciate these as part of its individuality, including marks from battles between male deer.
