About the deer leather we value

Yakushima deer

These small deer inhabit the steep mountain regions of Yakushima. They move gracefully through the moss-covered forests, nourished by abundant rain, and are deeply intertwined with the island's ecosystem.

We are weaving the life of Yakushima's forest.

On Yakushima, to maintain the forest environment, efforts are made to cull the Yakushima deer population.

We want to preserve the lives lost through human activity, even if it means transforming their form.

We aim to create products that utilize the blessings of Yakushima's forests.

Each piece is carefully hand-stitched, working with leather that has its own unique character.

By holding Yakushima deer leather in your hands, we hope you can imagine the eternal nature and cycle of life on Yakushima in your daily life.

A portion of the sales is donated to the "Yakushima Mountain Area Environmental Conservation Cooperation Fund."

By using Yakushima deer leather products, you are helping to protect the forests of Yakushima.

Thank you always. With gratitude.
