All are wild deerskin, and the suppleness, thickness, and appearance vary for each individual.
・Yakushima deerskin: Leather from wild sika deer inhabiting Yakushima Island.
・Ezo deerskin: Leather from Ezo deer that lived on the Hokkaido plains.
・Kyoto deerskin: Leather from Japanese sika deer culled in Kyoto. This material makes use of life without waste and is a unique term used by ariga-to.
・Tochigi Leather: Vegetable-tanned cowhide from Tochigi Leather Co., one of Japan's leading tanneries. Characterized by its robustness and durability.
・Italian Leather: Italian cowhide. Characterized by its fine texture and vivid colors.
